Gornik Walbrzych made last corrections in roster by signing last season top point guard of French Pro A Markus Carr (186-G-79). Carr who was star point in BigSky (NCAA1) with great 8.9apg in his top season spent in Europe two season. FORWARD DAVID LUCAS COMING TO POLONIA WARSZAWA (POLAND)

Another changes coming in Polonia Warszawa. They just signed verstitate American forward David Lucas (203-F-82) who 20 January will land in Poland. Lucas was star of NCAA when he lead Oregon State and in 2005 he was choosen to All Portsmouth Invitational Tourney All-Star Team (NBA Pre-Draft Camp). After he played in top portugese team Benfica Lisbona (15 games: 15.3ppg, 6.1rpg) and last season in american IBL with averages 36.5ppg, 15.0rpg where he was league MVP. DAWID WITOS MOVING TO ZASTAL WIECKO Z.GORA (POLAND)

Polish top guard Dawid Witos (190-G-83) who was starter in Polpharma Starogard Gdanski just left the team and signed contract with Zastal Wiecko Zielona Gora. Witos averaged this season in DBE after 12 games: 10.7ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.2apg, 1.3spg, (3PT: 40.9%) and he was best polish player in Starogard! He received a lot of proposals from few DBE teams but just immediately signed with Zastal where he played 3-4 years ago. Zastal have now 18-0 result in 1liga!

ERICK BARKLEY STAYS IN BASKET KWIDZYN (POLAND)

Ex-NBA guard Erick Barkley (186-G-78) stays in polish extraleague newcomer Basket Kwidzyn after he played good game against Polonia Warszawa (15 pts, 2 reb, 1 as, 4 st during 26 minutes). Barkley moved to Basket from other DBE team Kotwica Kolobrzeg. Last season Barkley spent in croatian KK Split with averages 15.2ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.8apg, 2.2spg in 17 games. ERICK BARKLEY COMING TO KOTWICA KOLOBRZEG (POLAND)

Erick Barkley (186-G-78) who was drafted in 2000 to NBA by Portland Trail Blazers just coming to Poland and will be tested by Kotwica Kolobrzeg. Barkley who played after graduate St.Johns 2 years in NBA, later in Greece, NBDL, CBA, Israel, etc last season spent in croatian KK Split with averages 15.2ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.8apg, 2.2spg in 17 games. KITWANA RHYMER TO HANZEVAST GRONIGNEN (HOLLAND)

Long time Hanzevast Groningen looking good inside player on the market. Just few days ago finalised agreement with US Virgin Islands National Team center Kitwana Rhymer (208-C-78). Rhymer who during FIBA Americas 2007 played 5 games (6.6ppg, 3.6rpg) received his Letter of Clearance from Bahranian team and can strenghtened ULEB team roster for another few months. Polish forward Marta Zylczynska (183-F-81) after recover and long negotiations with nation league teams just moved to belgian league top team Spirou Monceau. Last season she spent in Tecza Leszno with 6.9ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.2spg in 27 games.

American forward Lindsey Hugstad-Vaa (188-F-84) signed tryout agreeement with MUKS Poznan. She is rookie which last year spent in University of Maine (NCAA1) with averages 7.5ppg, 2.8rpg in 27 games and this season rumored to Edremit Basketbol Ihtisas in Turkey but her trip to Turkey was cancelled by the team since the team is facing financial problems.

AYINDE UBAKA FROM SLASK TO CZARNI ENERGA SLUPSK (POLAND)

American top rookie guard Ayinde Ubaka (193-G-85) moving from ASCO Slask Wroclaw to Czarni Energa Slupsk. Ubaka was relased from Slask wiht 2 other players last weeks after good games on tournament in Latvia and passed tests. Now he moving to Energa Czarni Slupsk where just Mantas Cesnauskis injured last week. Ubaka signed temporary contract with full season option. Last season american guard played in 34 games with 13.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.3apg. He was nominated to NABC All-NCAA District 14 2nd Team and All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention. After season he was called in April 2007 for Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (Beach Barton Ford team), and in July 2007 for Charlotte Bobcats Summer Camp and played in Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando for Charlotte Bobcats also. STEVE THOMAS BACK TO POLAND! WILL PLAY IN POLPHARMA (POLAND)

Well known in polish extraleague forward/center Steve Thomas (203-F-81) just signatured agreement with Polpharma Starogard Gdański. Thomas who just finished his pre-season workouts with Atlanta Hawks landed in Poland and will be replacement for Emmanuel Dies who just moved to KTP in Finland. American forward spent two seasons in Poland after graduation Middle Tennessee St. where he moved from Georgia. He played in Polpak Swiecie which in 2006 after All-Star Game lead to league semifinals and he received awards of Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Defensive Player of the Year, Eurobasket.com Polish League All-Defensive Team, Eurobasket.com Polish League All-Imports Team and was little injured but anyway key player of Polpak during 2006/2007. In first polish season he averaged 10.3ppg, Reb-5(9.3rpg), 1.2bpg and last year 6.3ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.0spg. Player signed in cooperation with our partner – Peak Performance

UGBOAJA AND RICHARDSON DRAFTED IN D-LEAGUE (USA)

Donta Richardson (188-G-81) and Ejike Ugboaja (204-F-85) are drafted in 2007 D-League draft. Richardson who is alumn of Wyoming and last few years spent in Europe (France, Sweden, Hungary, Cyprus, Slovakia) was drafted by D-League Champion Dakota Wizards in 8th round with number 13. Also other our forward Nigerian star and National Team player who was past drafted to NBA just found place in Albuquerque Thunderbirds choosen in 5th round with number 3. Last season Ugboaja debut in proleague and player shortly in Poland and Cyprus top divisions

ARTEM CHEMYAKIN MOVING TO BK MINSK 2006 (BELARUS)

Our Ukrainan forward Artem Chemyakin (207-F-84) just signed 1 year deal with belarusian top division team BK Minsk 2006. Chemyakin was in past Ukrainan U20, U21 National Team player and he was Eurobasket.com Ukrainian Superleague All-Newcomers Team 2005. Last year our forward spent in BC93 Pulsar Rovno in Superleague with averages for 9 games: 4.3ppg, 3.1rpg during 13 mpg and later after short playing in December 2006 signed with Lvovskaya Politekhnika Lvov finally moved to DUEP Dnepropetrovsk which was finalist of Higher League in 2007.

Polish forward Marcin Balicki (203-F-83) who last season spent and before growed up in Polonia Warszawa teams just moved to Danish League 2007 semifinalist Horsens IC. Balicki was ex-Polish NT U17 member and past played for Polonia, Notec Inowroclaw, LKS Lodz and last season in Warsaw played in 18 games of DBE with 4 pts, 3 reb, 2 as.

New American forward arrived to Odra Brzeg. We just signed there for 1 year deal Khaili Sanders (191-F-82). Sanders replaced sent home Tia Moore and made on first practices very good impression in Brzeg. This verstitate forward graduated in 2006 Clemson Universitety and last year was choosen to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League 2nd Team where in Santarem Basket Club averaged 22.1ppg, 12.3rpg, 2.0bpg. VALDAS VASYLIUS FOR 1 YEAR WITH ANWIL WLOCLAWEK (POLAND)

Talented forward Valdas Vasylius (201-F-83) who passed around 1 month ago tryouts in Anwil Wloclawek finally signed 1 year deal with this polish ULEB Cup team. Lithuanian who graduated Old Dominion University got last season in 33 games and he averaged 15.6ppg and 6.1rpg. Vasylius was also All-CAAC 1st Team member, Lithuanian University National Team player on World University Championships in Bangkok 2007. In past he was also nominated in 2006 to Lithuanian National Team. Last month when he passed tests in Wloclawek he back to Lithuania and got workouts later with Bremerhaven and Unicaja Malaga but when he received back offer from Anwil he immediately cut workouts and left for tournament in Latvia where now playing team from Wloclawek.
